Three Kenyans land World track athlete of the year nominations

Three Kenyan Olympic gold medalists have made the cut for the 2024 World Track Athlete of the Year.
Voting is open on World Athletics social media platforms. It will close on 27 October.
The three Kenayns are Olympic 5000m and 10,000m champion Beatrice Chebet, Olympic 1500m champion, and World 1500m record holder Faith Kipyegon, and Olympic 800m champion Emmanuel Wanyonyi.
