Republican candidate and Former US President Donald Trump is projected to win the 2024 US elections leading both on electoral college votes and popular votes.

During an adress to his supporters at the West Palm Beach resort in Florida,Trump declared himself Victor as he promised to deliver on his main agenda 'The American Dream' aiming to restore the country's economy and prioritize American policies ahead of external affairs.

Trump who was surrounded by his Close family and friends including his spouse Melanie Trump and his children alongside his Running mate JD Vance, acknowledged their invaluable support to his campaign and well-being.

Trump thanked voters: "I want to thank the American people for the extraordinary honour of being elected your 47th president and your 45th president"

"America has given us an unprecedented and powerful mandate," he said to cheering crowds. 

The Republican has picked up the battleground states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia, leaving Kamala Harris with only a narrow path to victory. 

Just before Trump began speaking, Fox News projected that he had won the election; other US TV networks are yet to do so. 

A return to the White House would be an extraordinary comeback for Trump after he lost to Joe Biden in 2020. 

Trump says he "made history" in this elections, vows to "heal" and "fix" the country.

He promised to open US borders to foreign nationals but maintained that foreigners would only be allowed into the US through legal means. This stresses on his hard stance on Immigration policy.

He also Promised to restore the American economy, which he says has been ailing over the last four years under President Biden. Trump Says under his Presidency More jobs would be open to the population.

Trump didn't fail to recognize the significant contribution of his close ally and supporter, Billionaire Elon Musk, whose influence to Trump's upcoming victory was chanted by supporters at the event.Elon musk is a "star "an amazing guy" Trump said. 

Musk was on several occasions, spotted on Trump's campaign rallies especially in the state of Pennsylvania and North Carolina, drumming up support for the republican. 

JD Vance "turned out to be a good choice": Trump praised his running mate, who himself said Trump had just pulled off "the greatest political comeback in American history" during the speech. 

RFK Jr will "make America healthy again": Trump appeared to suggest Robert F Kennedy Jr - the former independent presidential candidate, who has a history of supporting unfounded conspiracy theories about vaccines - will have a role relating to healthcare in his administration. Kennedy withdrew from the race in August to endorse Trump. 

Meanwhile, Republicans are projected to take back the Senate having already won the majority in the House of Representatives.

Trump is currently leading with 267 electoral college votes, needing only three to be declared President-elect while VP Harris is trailing with 224 Electoral college votes.

In terms on popular Votes, Trump is leading with 68,028,208 votes representing 51.1% of the total votes cast while Harris trails with 62,939, 405 votes representing 47.4 % of total votes cast. 

Is elected, Trump will only be the second US president to win the second Non-consequtive term since Grover Cleveland 132 years ago. 

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer is the latest world leader to congratulate Donald Trump. 

Harris is yet to speak after dejected supporters left her official watch party earlier in the night.
