Kevin Kachapin proudly joins the ranks of other students hailing from the area who have successfully completed their Bachelor’s degree in law and gained admission to the bar.
Leaders commended Kachapin junior for raising the standards within the Pokot community and transforming the prevailing perception that portrays them as a community that neglects education in favour of engaging in cattle rustling and banditry along their borders with neighbouring communities.
Furthermore, the religious leaders who attended the ceremony, emphasized the importance of parents and students putting in diligent efforts at school noting that it will help in improving the reputation of the community, which has been tarnished by the false perception that Pokot community is associated with criminal activities such as banditry, female genital mutilation (FGM), and early marriages.

He made a solemn pledge to collaborate harmoniously, coexist as a unified community, and vowed to bring to justice any individuals involved in acts of banditry and cattle rustling.
