KHARTOUM 

Sudan's paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on Tuesday announced the release of 100 army prisoners before the Muslim holiday of Eid al-Adha, despite continued clashes in the capital Khartoum.

"In consideration of and respect for the human rights law, the Rapid Support Forces Command decided to release 100 prisoners of the coup forces," the RSF said in a statement.

The decision came in consideration of the Eid holiday circumstances and for humanitarian purposes, it added. (Sudan-Conflict-Prisoner Release)

JERUSALEM -- Director General of the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD) Gaby Portnoy on Tuesday accused groups associated with Iran of launching cyberattacks on civilian targets in many countries in the region.

Speaking at the annual Cyber Week held at Tel Aviv University in central Israel, the INCD chief said the Israeli defense community knows the Iranian cyber activities "inside out," and "is working to disrupt them in different ways." (Israel-Iran-Cyberattacks)

TEHRAN -- Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday discussed the expansion of bilateral relations and economic cooperation.

ISTANBUL -- Turkish Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Simsek on Tuesday promised that the government would press ahead with rational economic policies, noting efforts to strengthen the country's reserves were at full speed.
