Rose Mbithe’s passion is to become a medical doctor one day so that she can help those struggling with various ailments in the society.

However, the 15-year-old girl’s dream could be far from being a reality after her guardian failed to pay for her form one admission.

Mbithe is a total orphan after she lost her single mother in 2022 following a long sickness, making her and her younger brother to seek refuge in her uncle’s homestead at Kisiriri area in Narok Central Sub County.

Despite the challenges, the young girl sat for her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in 2023 and managed to score 326 marks.

She had been sponsored through the primary school education by the principal Ewaso Nyiro Brite Academy, who offered to let the child in school without paying any fees because of her background.

The girl’s dream is now hangs in the balance as her attempts to seek a scholarship to join Suswa Girls’ high school, where she has been admitted, hit a snag.

Her late mother’s friend, Felister Mutie said her greatest worry is that the girl could miss out on joining high school as she has no one to sponsor her education.

She described the young girl as a hardworking girl who has a special passion for education.

“I have applied for many scholarship programs, but no organizations have shown interest to help. I am now left to call upon any well-wisher to come out and support my education dream through Felister Mutie Mobile No. 0725590398,” said Mbithe.
