Education Cabinet Secretary Professor George Magoha is set to announce the 2021 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) examination results on Monday, March 28, 2022.
Magoha arrived at State House Nairobi on Monday morning to brief President Uhuru Kenyatta ahead of the official release.
The CS is then expected to release the examinations from Mitihani House. The candidates sat for the examinations between March 7 and March 9.

About 1.2 million candidates sat for the 2021 KCPE exams. This is among the highest figures recorded in exam candidature history in Kenya.
1,225,507 candidates sat the exams across 28,316 KCPE examination centres as compared to 1,191,752 candidates in 28,467 centres in 2020, an increase of 33,755 which is simply 2.75 per cent.
How to check results
Candidates can access their results by sending their index numbers via a short text message (SMS) to code 20076.
Candidates can also access the results via the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) portal by following the below steps:
1. Launch a web browser on your computer or mobile device.
2. Log in to
http://www.knec.ac.ke/ on the Address Bar.
3. Look for “2021 Online Result Slip” and select the option.
4. The KCPE – RESULT SLIPS window will be displayed.
5. Fill out your “User Name” and “Password.”
