Bomet Central MP passes condolences to Itembe over Chief's death

Bomet Central Member of Parliament Richard Kilel has passed his condolences to the family of the late Senior Assistant Chief Samson Ngetich and the people of Itembe Sub Location.

Kilel described the late chief as a dedicated administrator who the government relied on in the fight against illicit brews and other illegal drugs.

He was speaking Monday at the late Chief's home at Itembe village where mourners were gathered following the demise on Sunday.

Ngetich was involved in a grisly road accident two weeks ago and had been recuperating at Tenwek Hospital's High Dependency Unit.

He was hit by a speeding vehicle as he branched into his home at the notorious Hunt Club section of Bomet-Kapkwen section of Bomet-Kaplong highway.

The late chief is survived by a widow and children and is set to be laid to rest on 26, April.
