CS Kindiki issues stern warning on politicians financial Livestock Rustling

Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration Prof. Kithure Kindiki has issued a stern warning on political leaders financial Livestock Rustling.
The CS warned that those found those found inciting, planning, and financing livestock rustling, banditry and other armed crimes will soon be brought to justice.
The CS was speaking in Meru during a security strategy meeting with members of the Eastern Regional Security and Intelligence Committee, Meru County and Mutuati Sub-County Security and Intelligence teams and the local commanders of ASTU, GSU and other security formations.
Meru County has recently faced rampant cases of livestock Rustling and theft especially in some parts of Meru North.
In response to these recent reports, the government has established more Anti-Stock Theft Unit (ASTU) and General Service Unit (GSU) camps in the area to provide a reassuring presence of security officers and tame the armed criminals who have been giving the residents sleepless nights in the past one month.
CS Kithure Kindiki has also announced that 140 additional National Police Reservists (NPR) have begun their training to Sharpen security efforts of the ground.
Kindiki also lauded the security personnel for their improving efforts in Livestock recovery.
