A family of 7 people in Masalani sub-county, Garissa county slept in the cold on Wednesday night after the ongoing heavy rainfall in the area destroyed their house.
The family of the taxi driver Adan Joga heard a loud bang as the semi-permanent house swayed aside falling instantly.
The children and the mother are now homeless as they are spending the day and night outside as they reorganize themselves to rent a house.
The family is appealing to well-wishers especially the Kenya Red Cross Organization to come to their aid.
Neighbors and well-wishers have been supporting the family with food and blankets but now say they are overwhelmed as most of them are poor.
