Gachagua's message to  new cabinet

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has penned a congratulatory message to the new cabinet.

The new cabinet was sworn in on Thursday, August 8, 2024.

The cabinet secretaries are ready to take full mandates of the office of their ministries. 

Gachagua took to his social platforms on Thursday, August 8, 2024, to congratulate the new CSs for their success. 

"Hearty Congratulations to our Cabinet Secretaries on your appointment by President William Ruto and subsequent swearing into office today," the statement read in part. 

Gachagua said that the new cabinet showed a new outlook of the government formation that is the cornerstone of transformation. 

President William Ruto created the cross-based government for the sake of uniting Kenyans and achieving the government's development plans. 

Ruto nominated four members from the Orange Democratic Movement party to his Cabinet. 

Gachagua expressed his joy towards the new cabinet stating that Kenyans have faith in the cabinet secretaries that they will deliver. 

The Deputy President assured Cabinet secretaries to offer help to them should they ask for it. 

He promised to work closely with the new cabinet to ensure the government's agenda is achieved. 

He welcomed the new cabinet to support the president in delivering socio-economic development to Kenyans. 

"It is a new beginning. You have been entrusted with the huge mandate of assisting the President in delivering the socio-economic transformation of the lives of our People," he said. 

"We will offer you our full support.We wish you all the best," the part of the statement read. 

He urged the new cabinet to fulfill what they promised to Kenyans.
