Mudavadi's message to Ruto after cabinet reshuffle

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi was one of the winners of president William Ruto's Wednesday night cabinet reshuffle.
Mudavadi will double up as the Cabinet Secretary (CS) for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, replacing Alfred Mutua.
Through a post on social media, Mudavadi thanked president Ruto for entrusting him with the new role.
"I am deeply honoured and humbled to have been entrusted by His Excellency President @WilliamsRuto with an expanded role in the reshuffled Cabinet. I express my sincere gratitude to His Excellency for the trust placed in me by assigning me the additional vital role of the Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs."
He said he embraces the new role with profound sense of duty.
"I am fully aware of the significance of my dual role, and I embrace the opportunity with a profound sense of duty and dedication. I pledge to continue serving the people of Kenya and our country with unwavering commitment, integrity, and diligence. I will champion, pursue, and protect the interests of Kenyans, both within our borders and abroad," he said.
In the changes, Moses Kuria was moved to the Ministry of Public Service, Performance and Delivery Management from the Ministry of Trade and Investment.
Rebecca Miano was transferred from the ministry of East Africa Affairs to the Trade docket.
Alice Wahome, the outgoing CS for Water swapped places with Zachary Njeru in the Ministry of Lands, Public Works and Urban development.
Alfred Mutua was redeployed to Tourism and Wildlife docket while outgoing Public Service, Gender and Affirmative Action CS Aisha Jumwa was moved to the Ministry of Gender, Culture, Arts and Heritage.
Peninah Malonza has been transferred from the Tourism docket to the Ministry of East Africa Community.
