Christiano Ronaldo claimed three honors at the 14th edition of the star-studded Global soccer Awards event which took place on Friday evening at the Palm’s spectacular Atlantis whilst Treble-winners City took home six of the major honours available.
Ronaldo who hails a stellar season campaign finished world top scorer in 2023 won the Fan's favorite player of the year 2023,Best middle east player for 2023 and The Globe Soccer’s Maradona award as the best goalscorer for 2023.
Erling Haaland who missed out on the 2023 Ballon D'OR and the FIFA best men's player awards to Lionell Messi earned a moment to smile as he was crowned the Globe Soccer’s best men's player of the year for the year 2023.
Haaland beat 30 star names to win the award including Karim Benzema and Kylian Mbappe, who won the 2022 and 2021 honours respectively, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo as well as fellow City players Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva.

Cristiano Giuntoli was awarded Best sporting director 2023 while super Agent Jorge Mendes was awarded Best Agent 2023.
Fans had their say in early December on who should be shortlisted for the awards via the Globe Soccer Website and then those names were voted on later in the month both by supporters and Globe Soccer’s Official Jury, made up of more than 30 key football industry figures, including Francesco Totti, Iker Casillas, Luis Figo and Marcello Lippi.
