Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has reiterated has nothing personal against ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
The two leaders have publicly traded jabs over the last week.
"As I have said it before, I have nothing personal against Raila Odinga and more so the Luo Community. I was only referring to a 1969 oath that was administered before I was born," Kuria said via his Facebook page.

"To all those vilifying me I say this, these historical accidents explain so much of what is happening today then you wonder why. Throwing stones at me is not the wise thing to do. Trying to learn something from what I am saying is more helpful," he added.
Kuria responded after Odinga, While campaigning in Teso, Busia County on Friday, March 25, 2022, wondered where the MP got the audacity to question his circumcision status.
"My first question, how do you know that Raila is not circumcised? Secondly, you are a man like Raila, what is your business with his body parts. We have seen all the tribes in Kenya intermarrying each other. Why haven't we seen the ladies complaining? You must be gay to raise such matters," he said in an apparent response to Kuria.
The MP initially stated that Kikuyus took an oath in 1969, and vowed never to elect an uncircumcised person.
"In 1969 when you are under siege you rally 300,000 Kikuyus to take an oath-at a fee- binding them never to elect an uncircumcised person. 50 years later without calling for another oath to undo the first one, you unilaterally make an about-turn and expect the whole community to follow you," Kuria said after President Uhuru Kenyatta had declared his support for Odinga's presidential bid.
The vocal MP claims the 1969 oath was not free, since "people were abducted by force and they still had to pay for it."
