The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leadership has seemingly 'evaded' nominations in 26 Counties across the Country, leaving aspirants to square it out for the party's ticket in 21 devolved units, between April 01 and April 21, 2022.
This means that in the 26 Counties, the Orange party will hand out direct tickets or leave room for aspirants in parties aligned to the Azimio la Umoja movement to carry the day, ahead of the August 09, 2022 polls.
Catherine Mumma, ODM National Elections Board (NEB) Chairperson says the party primaries will be held at venues agreed upon by aspirants.

Nakuru and Turkana will be the first to conduct ODM nominations on April 01, before Narok and Kajiado follow a day later.
Kilifi and Tana River will follow suit on April 04, before Taita Taveta and Kwale take up the baton a day later.
Mombasa will be in action on April 6, before the bandwagon moves to Kisii and Nyamira Counties on April 07. Vihiga and Busia will follow on April 12.
The Lakeside Counties of Kisumu and Siaya will conduct nominations on April 13 and 14 respectively, before moving to Bungoma and Trans-Nzoia on April 15. Migori's nominations will be held on April 16.
Homa Bay, Kakamega and Nairobi will close the chapter on April 18, 19 and 21 respectively.
ODM leader Raila Odinga initially downplayed threats of division in Azimio, insisting that the coalition will remain intact even primaries.
"There is no push and pull. Jubilee and ODM are friends. We are in Azimio's bigger house where there are many rooms including ODM, Narc Kenya and Jubilee. We are together, our ambition is to form the next government and help our people."
