Norwegian Jackson Ingrebitsen bounced back to win gold in the men's 5000m race after missing out on the 1500m race.
The Norwegian was forced to pump his energy further into the finish line after a late attack from spain's Mo Katir tonight.
The Norwegian seemed dissatisfied with his 1500m results after complaining of extreme weather conditions exercebated by high temperatures in Budapest. He claimed to had suffered from a sore throat.
Ingrebitsen won the race at a personal best of 13:11.30,Only 11 seconds ahead of second placed Katir with Kenya's Jacob Kiprop coming third in 13:12.28.
"To win another world title is great of course – but I was very tired," the Norwegian said after the race. "I tried to save my energy to win at the end because that was the only way tonight. I knew that if my tactics were better than my competitors I would have a chance to win, and that's what happened. It worked out absolutely perfectly.
"This title means a lot to me after losing again in the 1500m. I haven't been at my best but I had the motivation and I had great support."
Ingrebitsen retains his glory in the 5000M men's championships.
