The 64th Grammy awards held in Las Vegas invited pomp colour style you name it. The award Ceremony saw no drama and no controversy compared to Last week's Oscars.
Here are some of the wins of the night that made headlines.
Jon Batiste, who was the most nominated artist in almost 11 categories took the album of the year awards from his 'we are' record beating the like of Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber.
Record of the year award went to Leave the door open by Silk sonic ft Bruno Mars.

Song of the year award was clinched by Silk sonic- leave the door open
The best new artiste category saw Olivia Rodrigo win in the category which also had the famous Saweetie.
The highlight of the night saw Another award for Olivia Rodrigo who also won best pop solo performance in 'Drivers license'
The best pop duo group performance went to Doja cat and SZA's "Kiss me more'
The best pop vocal was also clinched by Olivia Rodrigo in the song 'Sour'
The best traditional pop album award went to Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga 'love for sale' beating legendary Dolly Parton, and Tory Kelly among others in the category
The best electronic recording was won by Rufus de sol 'Alive'
The best electronic album was won by Black coffee 'Subconsciously'
The best alternative album was won by St Vincent 'Daddy's home'
The best contemporary album was clinched by Taylor Egisti 'tree falls'
The best melodic rap song went to Kanye West, Lil Baby and the weekend 'Hurricane'
The best rap song went to Kanye West ft Jay-Z 'Jail'
Best country solo performance was won by you should probably leave - Chris Stapleton
Best country duo performance went to younger me 'brothers Osborne
Chris Stapleton won two other awards in the categories of best country song and best country album
Best Improvised Jazz Solo"Humpty Dumpty (Set 2)" – Chick Corea
Best Jazz Vocal Album "Songwrights Apothecary Lab" – Esperanza Spalding
Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song"Believe for It" – CeCe Winans and also the best gospel album
Music Album"Old Church Basement "– Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music
Best Roots Gospel Album "My Savior" – Carrie Underwood
Best Latin Pop Album "Mendó" – Alex Cuba
