Man dies at Wote town road accident

A Boda Boda rider has today died on spot after losing control and hitting a wall of a house along Depot - Kasarani Earth Road at Banglaa area Wote Town.

The 11 am accident occurred when the deceased lost control, plunged into a ditch beside the road, went ahead and hit the wall of a house beside the Depot Road and eventually landed on Kasarani Earth road.

“The rider of motorcycle registration number KMGC 638Y, make TVS, Daniel Mutinda Nthenge was riding from Depot direction heading towards Kasarani general direction and upon reaching the spot of the accident, he lost control, plunged into a ditch beside the road, went ahead and hit wall of a house beside the road and eventually landed on Earth Road,” said Makueni Sub- County Base Commander James Mosiere while confirming the accident today afternoon.

The body of the deceased was taken to Makueni Referral Hospital morgue for autopsy and preservation while the slightly damaged motorcycle was towed to Makueni police station.
