Manchester City, Inter complete Champions League semis lineup

Manchester City and Inter Milan completed the 2022/2023 Champions League semi final lineup on Wednesday night, at the expense of Bayern Munich and Benfica respectively.
At Bayern's Alliance Arena home turf in Berlin, Manchester City forced a 1-1 draw to register a resounding 4-1 aggregate win after a comfortable 3-0 in the first leg at Eithad stadium, last week.
Bayern Munich captain Joshua Kimmich equalised in the 83rd minute via a penalty, after Erling Halaand had put City ahead in the 57th minute.
The Norwegian foward made ammends for the lost penalty in the first half.
Manchester City now has a date with defending Champions Real Madrid in the semis.
At the legendary San Siro stadium in Milan, Italy, Inter Milan scrapped through to the semis despite a hard fought 3-3 draw against Portuguese side, SL Benfica.
The tie ended 5-3 on aggregate in favour of the Italian giants after a 2-0 win during the first leg in Portugal last week.
Inter will be up against City rivals AC Milan in the semis.
Semis will be played between 5th May and 16th May, 2023 ahead of the final which will be staged in Istanbul, Turkey on June 10, 2023.
