Brazilian foward Neymar has joined Al-Hilal from French giants Paris St Germain (PSG).

The 31-year-old player joins the Saudi Pro League side on a two year 90 million-euro-deal.

He joined PSG in 2017 from Barcelona.

Neymar said he has achieved a lot in Europe with Barcelona and PSG, and time is ripe for a new challenge.

"I've achieved a lot in Europe and enjoyed special times, but I have always wanted to be a global player and test myself with new challenges and opportunities in new places."

"I have heard a lot and learned that I am following a long list of Brazilian players who have played in Saudi Arabia over the years, so I believe it is the desired place."

The Brazilian made 173 appearances for PSG.

He aided the club to 13 trophies, including five Ligue 1 titles, besides reaching the 2020 Champions League final.

PSG went down 0-1 to FC Bayern Munich.

The Saudi Pro League has over the weeks attracted a host of big shots from European leagues, most probably because of the money involved.

Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Jordan Henderson, Ruben Neves, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have all moved to Saudi Arabia, following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo who joined Al-Nassr from Manchester United in January, 2023.

Neymar's new team mates include former Wolves captain Ruben Neves, former Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, formerly of Lazio.
