Safaricom customers to be affected by system maintenance from Late Sunday to early Monday

Safaricom has announced a scheduled system maintenance from Sunday 14th July 2024, 11 pm to Monday 15th July 2024 at 4AM.

During the maintenance period, customers will be unable to access critical mobile money services tied to Lipa na M-PESA including Paybill and Buy Goods services. 

Other services affected will be International Money Transfers (Western Union), M-PESA Global, as well as M-PESA App and mySafaricom App will be Unavailable. 

The Telco says that the scheduled maintenance is aimed at improving the seamless and quality accessibility of its services to it's customers and enhancing innovation. 

Meanwhile, all other services including calls, data, SMS and all other M-PESA services will be available as usual.
