Song and Dance rocked Tenwek High School in Bomet County, following a good performance posted by 2023 candidates in the just-released KCSE results.
Tenwek Principal, Mutali Chesebe, led Teachers, school Board members, and students in celebrating the results.
“We have recorded an improvement in both the grades and mean scores and it gives us a lot of joy after real hard work,” said Mutali Chesebe.
Chesebe also noted that the number of students who made the minimum university entry mark, had improved to over 95.
Being one of the national schools in the country, Chesebe said they are leaving nothing to chance, in ensuring students perform and post good results in national exams.
The number of students with A plains, improved from 5 in 2022 to 20 in the just-released KCSE results.
The Principal also revealed that the number of candidates with A-(minus), shot to 70 with an incredible 103 students recording a B+(plus) score.
Chesebe said the mean score wrapped-up the good performance, saying it improved from 8.7 to 9.3
Chesebe said the performance was a huge improvement from the previous year.
“We will walk around with our heads held high, because we delivered good results worth emulating by everyone in the County,” added Chesebe.
He said the results come as a motivation and have had them set their eyes on the sky.
“The sky is the limit for us, we are eying the national stage and, in the future, we are seeing ourselves ruling the national stage,” he said.
