Drama as woman arrested for stealing iPad accuses foreign national of sodomy

There was drama in Kilimani area on Saturday April 9, after a woman and a man foreign national) were arrested over allegations of theft and sodomy respectively. According to a statement by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations DCI, the woman had spent the night with the foreign room at a Kilimani establishment. However, as she was living the man identified as Khan noticed that his iPad was missing and raised an alarm. “...Immediately after she left the room, Khan realized that his iPad valued at around Sh92,000 was missing and alerted security to freeze the woman and ransack her handbag in search of the gadget. The iPad was recovered from the woman and the hotel’s security alerted police officers based at Capitol Hill Police station, who immediately rushed to the establishment,” DCI stated. Explaining her side of the story to the officers who’d arrived at the scene to arrest her, the lady claimed that Khan had given her the iPad as payment for her services, since he did not have cash.

She further accused Khan of contravening their agreement, adding that he sodomized her. The lady told the officer she was planning to file a sodomy report at the police station immediately she left the premises. “The woman alleged that Khan had given her the iPad, being payment for the services she had offered him all night since he had no cash money. Secondly, she told the officers that she intended to file a sodomy report against the reportee, since he had gone against the order of nature, contrary to her wishes,” DCI narrated. The sudden change of events surprised the officers, but after consultation, they decided to arrest Khan and the woman as they investigated further. They two were taken to Capitol Hill police station.
