Empowering Youth through Entrepreneurship: A Pathway to Kenya's Economic Future

During this digital era, Kenya stands on the map of innovation and entrepreneurship globally.
It is not a secret, youth from kenya, they influence largely economic transformation.
Introducing entrepreneurship skills among youth is a great opportunity and a tool for the future of the nation.
For the country to fully implement and bear fruitful results from youth entrepreneurship, the challenges hindering the progress should be addressed.
There are multiple challenges facing entrepreneurship hence making many youths struggle to penetrate to th marketplace.
The major one is access to capital. Many youths have entrepreneurial skills and knowledge but they lack capital and others have inadequate capital.
Inaccessibility to the capital by youths paralyzed their innovation and invetion skills.
Financial institutions have not put into considerations the formal credit services to the youths.
Government of Kenya should address this issue by partnering with the private sectors in enhancing smooth offering of credit loans as capital to the young people.
Grants and microloans should be created as supportive financing systems designed specifically for young people.
Government should provide educational programs to enable young people equip with necessary skills.
Again, the government should integrate entrepreneurship education, critical thinking and skills that are practical in nature into educational institutions.
This way, the nation will experience many innovators that will solve the problems in the modern markets.
In addition, young entrepreneurs should be exposed to the mentorship programs that will in turn empower them.
These mentorship programs will create connections between youth and seasoned business leaders that will lead to the networking opportunities.
Once this challenge is solved, Kenya will eventually unlock many entrepreneurial potentials thatwill thrive economy.
