Kenyan entrepreneur Khalif Kairo has revealed the reason why people should not protest today.

Kairo believes that the goals that made people protest have been addressed, which is the Finance Bill and the ministers who have been fired and he asked the people to try using different methods and see how it is done.

Kairo has stressed that engaging in frequent protests puts the nation at risk of stability, peace and economic deterioration.

"At this hour, going to a protest puts the country at risk of chaos and the economy in many streets. Don't go to a protest. It is not appropriate. If you love your country, give a solution." Khalif Kairo said.

Kairo also reminded people to be careful and think of those who are not protected by the police as well as those whose businesses may be destroyed and also those who may lose their lives in the name of 'peaceful protest'.

Khalif Kairo, believes that it is also right to care for others and also for the Kenyan Government to try to see if there will be a change because they already made their point by protesting.

And also the protests showed the Government that people were not interested in the way it is ruling, especially the imposition of high taxes which the president refused to pass into law.

Khalif disregarded the #Ruto Must Go agenda, claiming that even if Ruto resigned, nothing would change because the nation is in a serious crisis.

He suggested that the only solution is to wait for the next election to choose the best leaders.

Beginning Tuesday, June 18, 2024, there were protests against finance.

The anti-finance protests resulted into several deaths, injuries and damages to property.

The Generation Z movement, made up of young people and teenagers, has led the protests.

39 people died and 361 were injured as a result of the nationwide protests, according to a report published by the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR).
