Red-Hot Muranga Seal and Gor Mahia settled for a barren draw in a FKF Kenyan Premier league match played at Kasarani stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The game witnessed a scarcity of chances between both sides with both teams staying alert on their back lines and few threatening attacks.
Seals seemingly adopted a "Pack the bus" game tactic as they lined up on their box for a huge chunk of the game to prevent Kogalo from real goal scoring chances.
The biggest moment of the game came on the 35th minute as Benson Omala sent the ball into the back of the net but the goal was later disallowed for an offside
Omala himself had another chance to score his eighth goal of the season in the second half when he found himself on a wide open space but would only disappoint Kogalo fans by sending the ball wide.
In the 80th minute, Substitute Chris Ochieng had a slim chance to score as he was served by a clean pass by Patrick Sibomana but tipped the ball over the bar.
In stoppage time, Gideon Ochieng would have changed the results in favor of the Green Army but goalkeeper Bonfas Munyasa saved the day for the seals by blocking the one-on-one shot.
At the end both teams agreed to share the spoils with Kogalo Sitting 2nd on the standing ahead of Seals on goal difference both teams with 22 points having played 11 games.
In other results, Kariobangi Sharks were downed 2-0 by Bandari on Early Kickoff, KCB thrashed Bidco 3-0 while struggling AFC leopards forced league leaders Posta Rangers to a 1-1 draw.
Shabana edged 10-man Nzoia Sugar 2-1 while Tusker defeated Nairobi city 3-1.
