The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced hundreds of jobs openings ahead of the August 9 general elections.
According to a statement posted on the Commission's Facebook page, the jobs will be temporary, and only for the upcoming poll.
IEBC is now inviting qualified applicants to apply for the jobs.
IEBC is currently in an advanced stage of preparation for the general election which is just a few months away.
For it to hold the exercise successfully, it will need extra staff, aside from the permanent staff that it currently has.
Among the temporary jobs available for application at the electoral body include Deputy County Returning Officers in each of the 47 Counties, and 290 Deputy Constituency Returning Officers.
IEBC is also seeking to recruit over 50,000 presiding officers and the same number of deputy presiding officers.
"IEBC invites qualified applicants for temporary positions to be engaged during the August 9th 2022 General Election (#GE2022)" the commission posted on Facebook.
Other jobs available for application at the IEBC ahead of the August 9 poll include logistics officers, support electrical trainers, ICT clerks, polling clerks, County and Constituency-Based Voter educators.
Qualifications for each of the jobs have been posted on the commission's website.
Applications are done online on the IEBC website.

"Applicants should apply via the IEBC jobs portal: https://jobs.iebc.or.ke not later than close of business on 5th May 2022," the commission said when announcing the jobs.
The commission usually recruits staff on a temporary basis once in a while depending on the demand for services.
