Kenyans react to a video of size 8 casting out demons

By Edith O. Virginia Gospel artist, Linet Munyali popular known by her stage name Size 8 reborn has a video that has since gone viral ,showing her casting out demons in a church. The viral video that has been trending has sparked different reactions among Kenyans.The video shows the 'Mateke' hit maker casting out demons from a young man and commanding the demons to leave him and let him go as he is an ordained fellow. On the same video another lady was crying and ,the popular gospel singer commanded the devil to be silent.Size 8 was recently ordained to be a pastor on December 12 2021,following the news Size 8 reborn took to her social media to celebrate .She wrote"I am overwhelmed by the doing of God through Jesus Christ in me. When I got born again many wrote me off and said I won't even last a week in salvation; eight years later now see God... His grace saved me from the secular world of music through Jesus Christ. His power through His spirit changed me to who I am today," The video that has since sparked reactions online with others claimimg she is not ready for that kind of preaching , others say it looked scripted and others went ahead to praise the good work that she is doing.The video that was shared by a local publication prompted the following reactions. “Casting our demons is for all those who believe muache mshangao” “This is now what I call working hard .Size 8 is making big moves.” “Alot is going on in Kenya”. “Ala! Ako practical.Kenya.you can be anything you want if you practice."
