Nyali Member of Parliament Mohamed Ali alias Jicho Pevu has led a march to show solidarity for Palestine in Mombasa County on Saturday Morning.
The legislator was accompanied by a group of residents and youths who were carrying banners with Pro-Palestine messages and Pictures of Palestinian flags as they Marched through the streets of Mombasa.
The MP had condemned the ongoing Civil unrest between Israel and Palestine urging the Israeli Government to free Palestine and cease the Massacre of Palestinians in Gaza.
"Together with my fellow Kenyan brothers and sisters at the demonstration against the ongoing Israel's horrendous massacre and ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in Gaza." The MP wrote in a statement on his X account.
The MP called for all Governments to unite and show solidarity in ending this unrest and called for immediate ceasefire and free acess of medical supplies, food and water to the Gaza strip which has been on a blockade since the onset of the war.
"We Call on Our Government and every Government in the World with any ounce of respect towards Human Rights and International Law to Call for an Immediate Ceasefire. Gaza, is at the moment cut off from Food, Electricity, Water and Fuel whilst weapons that are causing fourth degree burns are being unleashed on innocent civilians mostly women and children.
The whole world has witnessed the unquestionable war crimes Israel has committed in the last 15 days. They have indiscriminately bombed residential buildings, mosques, the Al Ahli Hospital, a Church and a track full of people who they asked to evacuate. The suffering of the People of Gaza can not go on any longer. We are calling out for Humanitarian aid to get in NOW, an End to The Blockade of Gaza, and the Liberation of The People of Palestine From The Occupier."Mp Ali added.
The unrest has so far claimed thousands of lives with millions left homeless.
The Humanitarian community is calling for ceasefire and end to what has been terminated as a 'Genocide' with calls for acess to humanitarian support in the Gaza strip.
