Woman killed in Ndhiwa

A 25-year-old woman was beheaded in a bizarre incident in Kamwanga village, in Ndhiwa Sub- County last night.

According to the Assistant Chief of Boya Sub location Miltone Kawino, the woman identified as Christine Auma was attacked in her home while cooking in the kitchen.

He said that Auma’s husband who was next door heard some commotion from the kitchen and rushed there only to find his wife’s body in a pool of blood on the floor with her head missing.

 Kawino said that the thugs disappeared into the darkness after the incident and are on the run.

He further stated that the body was taken to Manyatta Kobodo Mortuary after he informed the authorities. He urged the public to be patient as further investigations are being done.

Ndhiwa Sub-County Police Commander Paol Rioba confirmed the incident saying they were in pursuit of the culprits whose motives have not been established.
