Arsenal Hammered twice by red Hot west Ham

West Ham United enjoyed a third consecutive Unbeaten run against Arsenal in a 2-0 victory in an English Premier league match played at Emirates stadium on Thursday night. 

Emerson Palmieri’s cross caused havoc between Gabriel Magalhaes and Oleksandr Zinchenko, allowing Jarrod Bowen to nip in and tee up Tomas Soucek for a simple finish giving the Hammers the lead in just 13 minutes .

Arsenal continued to dominate possession but the Visitors stood firm denying the gunners open chances to score. 

West Ham were sent into a devastating shock when their in form maestro Lucas Paqueta was forced off to injury having contributed 5 assists in their last two Premier league matches. 

Arsenal nearly grabbed and equalizer when Martin Odegaard uncised a poor pass from Edson Alvarez opening up an opportunity for Saka before the break, although the winger smashed his shot against the post.

Shortly into the second half , the Gunners were caught out by a cross again, this time seeing former Gunner Konstantinos Mavropanos imperiously rise above Gabriel and send his header in off the woodwork for the centre-back’s first Hammers goal.

West Ham's formed main man Declan Rice added more woes to the gunners when he brought Emerson Palmeri down gifting the hammers a penalty While Said Benrahma’s spot kick was saved by David Raya.

The Final whistle confirmed West Ham's 9th victory in 13 matches across all competitions while the defeat means the Gunners have only one win from their last five across all competitions and behind Liverpool in the league table.
