It's time to shave signature dreads. The story started with Sean Andrew and now Thee Pluto has followed suit.
Sean Andrew, retired President Mwai Kibaki's grandson decided to go for the clippers, ending his signature look. He chose shorter hair for his new style.
Why did he cut his dreadlocks though? Sean Andrew through his social media spoke of not wanting to be identified with this look and further explained that he does not rightly agree with what dreadlocks represent.
“I am not my hair and I am not your expectations, apply it to yourself as you will,” Sean Andrew wrote.

YouTube sensation Thee Pluto also followed suit. Thee Pluto who identifies himself as the street sanitiser also went for the big chop, shaving his signature dreadlocks.
The celebrity is yet to speak on why he took the big decision but in his video, he showed off a jovial moment at a city club in Nairobi enjoying the night. Fans warmed up to his new look, som claiming he looked even younger.
He then shared a post of his new haircut with the caption, “aty nimekuwa mtoto Tena?”
Other celebrities who have changed looks include; Guardian Angel's wife Esther Musila who chopped off her long dreads and went for a simple low cut style and has since maintained her new look
Mordecai of H-art the band also followed suit whilst welcoming a new year and changed his signature look.His band members speaking after his chop said he was still adjusting to his new look
Timmy T Dat Kenyan musician also cut his signature dreads, went for low cut dyed hair.
Hot 96 presenter Nick Odhiambo also shaved his dreadlocks.
