NIBS college founder Lizzie wanyoike dies aged 72

Lizzie Wanyoike, Founder of The Nairobi Institute of Business Studies (NIBS) has passed on at the age of 72.
In an eulogy statement, her family confirmed that the businesswoman died on Sunday, January 14.
"In loving memory of a remarkable educator. Her passion ignited minds, her kindness touched hearts. A beacon of wisdom, she left an indelible mark on countless lives, shaping futures with grace," the eulogy read.
Sources indicate that the Sucessful businesswoman had suffered a long battle with cancer before she succumbed.
Lizzie owned a wide business manganate including the Emory Hotel and Liziie Preparatory Schools among other ventures.
Lizzie Born in November 1951 where she pursued education at Kenyatta University, earning a Diploma in Education.
By aid of loans she established the Temple College of Secretarial Studies in Nairobi, with a mission to mentor young girls and promote education.
The college grew from 25 students to over 6000 currently branded as NIBS operating within the Nairobi City with branches located in Ongata Rongai, Thika Town, Nairobi CBD, and Ruiru-Kimbo along Thika Highway.
