Roads to spur development in Khwisero

Khwisero MP Christopher Aseka has said completion and maintenance of roads in the area will spur economic development among the residents.

He said already Khwisero –Eshibinga, Khumpaka-Mwisena, Mwibona-Munjiti, Mushikongolo-Emakuche and Wanyanya-Nyarima-Opala roads have been finished.

The MP said the feeder roads will ensure that the residents access more services and markets for their produce.

Aseka said he will prioritize and address Mushikongolo-Eshinutsa-Elwangale, Ekatsombero-Mwisena-Ebutuku, and Mwirembe-Emalindi-Eshiruli-Mundaha roads that are in a dire state.

The MP was speaking in his office Thursday after meeting a delegation from Kisa Eastward who paid him a courtesy call in a view of establishing more avenues for development.

The legislator said he has committed to buying a school bus for Eshinutsa and Eshibinga Secondary schools and refurbishing classes in various schools that fall within the ward.

“We have identified land for the establishment of Emalindi mixed Day Secondary School and construction of a six-classroom storey facility at Munjiti Primary School,” he said.

In addition, the MP said he will assist in the renovation of Emasatsi Police Station and also underscored the importance of peaceful existence and cohesion as a catalyst for sustainable development.
