Ruto is Kenya One, declares Jalang'o
By Peter Ochieng
Lang'ata Member of Parliament (MP) Phelix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o has declared that his resolve to work with president William Ruto was not a gimmick.
The Radio presenter cum comedian turned politician was among Nyanza MPs who met the president again at State House Nairobi, on Tuesday, creating the impression that their previous meeting was not out of the blues.
"Our resolve to work with HE william Ruto was not a gimmick! We will support the president and we must support the president! When the president loose we all loose! Ruto is Kenya 1," the first term MP declared.
"God bless the president and may we work together for our country! Always pray for the president for him to continously guide and lead the country."
Later he posted a picture of him and Ruto, and captioned it as such: "Keep this photo for future.....Only God knows!"
The president on his part said he will work with leaders across the country, without any form of reservations.
"We will work with leaders across the country without reservation or discrimination, regardless of political affiliation, to deliver services to the people. This is what the constitution demands and what all Kenyans deserve."
Besides Jalang'o, others who met Ruto are Gideon Ochanda (Bondo), Tom Ojienda (Kisumu Senator), Caroli Omondi (Suba South), Elisha Odhiambo (Gem), Mark Nyamita (Uriri) and Paul Abuor (Rongo).
They were all elected on the ODM party ticket during the August, 2022 polls.
The legislatures first met the Head of State and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua in February, prompting ODM leadership to institute disciplinary measures against them.
