Being a mom is such a blessing the process of seeing your todler grow up to become an adult is also a life changing experience all together . Here's a fun fact I learnt today, did you know that sticking your tongue out will help a baby's brain develop? Well here's the how and why. Sticking your tongue out has overtime ,actually it still does! it means alot of very taunty meanings but foregoing all that, this concept is a life changing thing for a young baby.Contemporarily the society has chosen to overlook the offensive side of sticking out your tongue towards someone.Science is always constantly growing and improving and this fun fact of sticking your tongue out and making the baby imitate helps a baby's brain develop. The action of imitation triggers the brain to process and store it in their memory. The action of retrieving the memories works in such a way to make the mind active, thus providing the brain with a good work out geared towards developing it especially a toddlers brain. Sticking out the tongue also helps a baby develop proper tongue control and creates a huge improvement in speech development and also helps with eating.Younger babies find this helpful because they can now be able to mumble something's in a bid to communicate. A proffesor on early childhood development in the school of Minessota confirms the concept of sticking out the tongue to be true .In her wordings Elizabeth Criswell says “one easy activity that is easily embeded during most routines is sticking the tongue out”. “You can model sticking your tongue out at different angles during diaper changes or playtime and allow the baby space to do it back to you”.
