Black French players unfollowed Enzo Fernandez on Instagram following the leakage of racism video

French Football players of African descent have unfollowed Enzo Fernandez on the social network Instagram.

This is following the action of the Argentinean Chelsea player appearing on live video with his teammates during the Copa America victory celebrations, while playing a song loaded with racist messages.

Those Chelsea players who are of black origin, Malo Gusto, Wesley Fofana, Axel Disasi, Christopher Nkunku, Malang Sarr, Benoit Badiashile, Romeo Lavia, Lesley Ugochukwu and David Datro Fofana have all unfriended Enzo Fernandez on Instagram.

Fofana has already commented on the incident and called it "unrelenting racism", while the club is already investigating the piece.

The French Football Federation has also announced that it will take legal action against the Argentine FA.

"Faced with the weight of these shocking words, contrary to the ethics of sports and human rights, the president of the FFF decided to protest directly to his Argentine counterpart and FIFA and to submit a legal complaint for the words of racial insults and discrimination. nature ," read the FFF statement.

" The President of the French Football Federation, Philippe Diallo, strongly condemns the unacceptable racist and discriminatory comments made against the players and supporters of the Argentine team after his victory in Copa America and broadcast in a video on social networks," another FFF part of statement read. 

This comes after a controversial video went viral online, where Enzo was seen singing with his Argentina teammates about the French national team.

There was mention of "passports, families, all born in Africa." It is criticized in some quarters as a racist comment.

Enzo Fernandez after accussed of racism, he has apologized for a video he posted on Instagram stating he is responsible and accountable. 

"The song includes highly offensive language and there is absolutely no excuse for these words" he added " That video, that moment, those words, do not reflect my belies or my character, I am truly sorry."
