Joy as President Ruto Hosts Children, staff at State House christmas Party

President William Ruto and First Lady Rachel Ruto on Tuesday hosted a Christmas party for their children’s staff at State House in Nairobi.

In the day-long fete, the children were treated to an assortment of entertainment activities; among them live music, bouncing castles, face painting and video games, among others.

“Christmas is a time to come together to commemorate the birth of Christ. 

It is the exciting moment when we reflect on grace and the promise of eternal happiness."President William Ruto said in a statement. 

The Head of State also wished Kenyans a merry Christmas as he reminded them on this special season to share and be generous to the community 

"This is a season of celebration, generosity and kindness as we build our family, friendship and community bonds. Merry Christmas!" The President said.

On her part, the first lady thanked the State House staff for their dedication and service to the nation’s highest office.

This is the second Christmas Party held under president William Ruto as he hosted a similar one on December, 22 last year at State House Nairobi. 

Former president Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta also hosted similar parties for their staff’s children during the festive season.
