Willis Raburu lands new appointment

Former Citizen TV presenter Willis Raburu has landed a new appointment.
Raburu who currently hosts the Wabebe Experience show on TV 47 is the new Director, Digital Services and Innovations, at Cape Media.
Cape Media is the parent company that owns TV 47 and Radio 47.
Under his new role, Raburu will report to the company's Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
He will be responsible for driving the continuous evolution of TV47, Radio 47 and 47 digital products.
“We are pleased to have Raburu on board. He will bring a valuable strategic skill set of performance and brand building digital capabilities to the team,” said Wilson Mbugua, Director of Operations, Cape Media.
Willis Raburu left Citizen TV in June after 13 years, where he juggled between news reporting, anchoring and show hosting.
He holds a bachelor of science in information sciences from Moi University, and is currently pursuing a master of arts in communication studies with a focus on strategic corporate communications at the United States International University (USIU).
His major task will be developing a comprehensive strategy and roadmap for the design, development and maintenance of brand 47 digital products and presence.
Reacting to the appointment, Raburu said he is up to the task.
