Manchester united suffered another horrific night in the UEFA champions league after falling 4-3 in tha hands of Danish champions Copenhagen on Wednesday night.
Copenhagen twice came from behind to snatch the victory from United in the 7 goal thriller match.
It took only 3 minutes for the visitors to sting first thanks to a strike from Rasmus Hojjund. 25 minutes later Hojjung netted the second against his former side to put United 2-0 ahead.
United's woes started when Winger Marcus Rashford suffered a red card in the 42nd minute for apparent stamp on Elias Jelert, reducing the Red Devils to 10 men.
Three minutes later the Hosts made their advantage count as Mohamed Elyounoussi pulled one back through a volley inside the box.
Harry Maguire's hand ball led the hosts to an equalizer at the last minute of the second half through a penalty from Diogo Concalves to make it 2-2.
United came into the second half strong despite the red card with a Diogo Dalot shot saved on the near post.
United's Players appealed for a penalty just past the hour mark as Maguire's header seemed to land on the arm of Denix Vavro. After a lengthy VAR review, Bruno Fernandes stepped up and smashed the spot-kick into the roof of the net.
United seemed to manage the match well but almost to the end of the 90 minutes Lukas Lerager staged an equalizer with a shot to the back of the post.
17-year-old Roony stinged united in the 87th minute after pouncing on a loose ball inside the box which went past helpless Andre Onana giving the Danish side their first win in their Group stage campaign for this season.
The Victory for Jacob Neestrup’s men marks just the second time that a Danish side has beaten English opposition since 2006.
The result leaves the Red Devils bottom of the group, while Copenhagen move into second ahead of Galatasaray who lost 2-1 to group leaders Bayern Munich.
In other results Arsenal went 2-0 Past Seville at Emirates to qualify to the round of 16 for the first time in 7 years thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka and Leonardo Trossard.
Real Madrid made through the knockout stages with a 3-0 lead against Portuguese side Braga with Inter Milan and Real Sociedad both increasing their Knockout stage qualification chances with 1-0 win and 3-1 win respectively.
Napoli's chances of qualification were delayed with a 1-2 draw against Union Berlin as Dutch side PSV Eindhoven taking their advantage against 10-man lens to win 1-0.
