Bee hive of activities in Maua town as music festivals begin. 

Maua town in Igembe South sub-county has been a bee hive of activities as Kenya National Music Festivals kicked off Friday where over 20 primary schools gathered at Maua primary school to showcase their music artistic and talents.

The zonal competition featured traditional dances like "kirarire", folk songs, choral verse speaking, solo verse speaking and set pieces.
