Activist Bob Njagi and two brothers Jamil Longton and Aslam, who were abducted in Kitengela last month, have been freed by their captors.
Njagi was dumped around 3am in Thogoto area while Earlier on, Jamil Longton and his brother Aslam Longton were also found after they were dumped at Gachie by their captors, As per LSK President Faith Adhiambo.
"I am informed that Jamil Longton and his brother Aslam were dumped at Gachie border of Kiambu and Nairobi by their captors. Every prayer and intervention made a difference. We thank God that they are safe!" She said on her X handle.
Njagi's father Longman Njagi exclusively told Hot 96 FM that his son is safe and sound.
"I was called late at night and informed by officers from Tigoni police station that my son was found alive," Njagi said.
He added that the activist was picked from the police station by his brother. "We thank God for the news. We have been down on our knees praying. We are very grateful," the activist's father added.
Njagi and the Two brothers went missing on August 19, 2024 in the wake of anti-government demonstrations in Kitengela.
This comes after DCI Boss Amin Mohamed on Thursday refuted claims that the National Police Service (NPS) is holding the Kitengela 3 in their custody.
Mohamed said that the NPS is not in the business of abducting Kenyans.
Kenyans’ collective pressure and reverse psychology last night seems to have worked, forcing their release to prove they are alive.
Newly-appointed Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja maintained that the National Police Service (NPS) was not holding the three.
