Former KTN News anchor Sophia Wanuna has landed a new job at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
Wanuna resigned from KTN News mid last month, after over 10 years at the Standard Group owned Media House.
JSC in a statement on Thursday, 4th April 2023 said she has been appointed Deputy Director and Head of the Directorate of Public Affairs and Corporate Communications at the Commission.
Her appointment took effect towards the end of April, 2023.
"Judicial Service Commission is pleased to announce the appointment of Sophia Wanuna as Deputy Director and Head of Directorate of Public Affairs and Corporate Communication at the JSC. The appointment took effect on 29th April 2023."
Before joining KTN in 2011, Sophia horned her skills at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation.
She joined KBC in 2008, before leaving in 2010 to join K24 TV.
The JSC notice said she comes with a safe pair of hands owing to her vast experience.
"She brings a wealth of experience from the media as an established journalist and newsroom manager."
Sophia in a statement on Twitter said her heart is full of delight, now that the confirmation of her appointment came on her birthday.
