KRA Rolls out the Revenue Service assistants Program

The Kenya Revenue Authority has officially rolled out its Revenue Service assistants Program to support taxpayers with tax compliance obligations. 

The Authority through a public Notice on Monday morning Noted that the program will also aim to assist taxpayers with online registration, verification of taxpayers information, e TIMS compliance, excise regulations compliance and data collection among many. 

The New rolled out program will see KRA Deploy it's field officers on-site to business premises and enterprise stores to ensure all tax payers meet their tax obligations at ease. 

KRA says that the Field officers will be identifiable through staff identification cards and uniforms. 

The KRA field officers are located and operate across Tax Service offices (TSOs), KRA stated that the officers have undergone training administered by the Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA) and delivered in partnership with the Kenya Defense Forces (KDF).

They have been equipped with skills comprising of technical tax modules on Value Added Tax, Customs and KRA Business systems including security training.
