Are you a journalism, media studies, communications, public relations or digital media student in need of an industrial attachment opportunity?
The Media Council of Kenya (MCK) is calling for applications for the industrial attachment placement program, scheduled to run from May to July, 2022.
"The Media Council of Kenya in partnership with recognized media houses is implementing the industrial attachment program, that is geared towards providing journalism students with practical work experience before graduation and to prepare them for the job market," reads part of the MCK advert.
"The internship will be for a period of Three months (3) May - July 2022. The Media Council of Kenya will provide a monthly stipend of Ksh15, 000 for the trainees upkeep."
Requirements include; final year students from a recognized university or middle college, a letter of application from the student, a recommendation letter from the university or college, a valid student identification card or registration number and a valid MCK student press card.
Interested students can apply by submitting all requirements through MCK's online portal https://mediacouncil.or.ke/services/support-services/careers, on or before Saturday, April 30, 2022.
According to MCK, email submissions will not be accepted.
