Former Law Society of Kenya (LSK) President Nelson Havi must be sitting pretty, given the fact that the law profession is flowing in his family tree.
Havi's daughter is among the young lawyers in the country, seeking to take over from the likes of her father, who seems to be taking a different route from the corridors of justice.
The lawyer is in the running for Nairobi's Westlands constituency Member of Parliament (MP) seat on the UDA ticket. If he gets elected on August 09, 2022, it will be a matter of 'trading' the corridors of justice, for parliamentary corridors.
But all will not be lost as his daughter, Christabel Mideva Eboso seems ready to take over the family's legal mantle.

She is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya for three years, and has practised at among other law firms, Nyaanga & Mugisha Advocates.
In her mid 20's, she considers the legal profession an avenue for networking.
"The profession is a hub of networks, with different areas of law enjoying a symbiotic relationship ensuring that none is considered as more superior than the other,” she said as quoted in the September 14, 2021 edition of the
Palm Magazine.
She considers herself lucky to have interacted with various women among them Professor Kameri Mbote as those who have helped her in one way or another towards achieving her dreams in the law profession.
“Well, my dreams and ambitions are a cocktail of the effort and doing of an army of women that thought of me and have continued to think of me as deserving over the years. By that I mean, they have shown unadulterated love and commitment to my success and growth,” states.
