Have you ever searched something on Google but can't find exactly what it is you are looking for. Maybe what we all needed was this life-saving hacks and tips to help scheme through Google like pros.
Here are simple but very helpful guides to search operators in Google that actually come in handy.
1. Quotation marks
Are you looking for a specific word? Then implore Using quotation marks in your search terms. This means that the results you get will have the exact word you are looking for. eg
“Cooking mandazi”

2. Hyphens
A dash assists if you want to exclude a term from your search. For example
American-football
3. Tilde
A Tilde is used when one wants even the synonyms to appear in your search. For example
Music~classes
If you type that it will bring you everything to do with music classes, lessons and even coaching among other findings
4. Site:
This operator simplifies your search to a specific website only.
Example site: Quora.com
5. A vertical bar |
The vertical bar will search for websites that have one or two or more of the items in question.
Eg Sweater|Shirt|Blouse
6. Two periods ..
Including two periods prompts search engines in case you want to search between two-time ranges.
For example 1980..1998
