Kenya Power announces temporary power interruptions in various regions on Sunday

The Kenya Power and Lightning Company has announced temporary power interruptions from 9AM to 5PM tommorow at various parts of the country.

The company has announced that the interruptions will be due to the planned maintainance of the power systems.

Some of the counties that will experience blackouts include some parts of Nairobi, Machakos, Western region and Mombasa.

In Nairobi, Blackouts will be experienced in areas within Siaya Road and Dik Dik Gardens and parts of the Old Mombasa road and Kyangombe. 

In Machakos County the blackouts will be experienced in areas around Athi River while in Western region the Molo and Lovingtone Estates of Bungoma County will experience the interruptions. 

Areas of Liwatoni in Mombasa County will be affected by the power interruptions. 

Kenya Power has been recently conducting a series of maintenence operations to stabilize power systems and conduct any necessary repairs.
