Wolves bite spurs in dramatic comeback

Tottenham Hotspurs suffered back to back defeats this time in the Hands of Wolvethampton wanderers at Molineux stadium on Saturday afternoon.
A dramatic comeback inspired by a goal from Mario Lemina on stoppage time brought Ange Postecoglou's men 2-1 down depressing their title dreams further after losing 4-1 to Chelsea last weekend.
Spurs had just scored inside three minutes into the match as Brennan Johnson tapped home after latching on to a Pedro Porro pass.
However, Spurs failed to retain their fire in the game as wolves gathered energy and pressed harder through the weak spurs Defence through surprising counter attacks and set pieces but lacked cutting-edge into the goal.
Hwang Hee-chan and Sasa Kalajdzic failed to convert on open chances forcing wolves to keep pressing in search of a goal.
Finally wolves found their breakthrough as Sarabia levelled in the 90th Minute with a sublime finish, volleying home after flicking the ball to himself in the air.
Mario Lemina scored in the seventh minute of additional time at Molineux, sliding the ball into the far side of the net after an expertly timed pass by Pablo Sarabia.
Spurs came into the match without key players as Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie served suspensions after receiving red cards on Monday, while Micky van de Ven and James Maddison have picked up injuries.
Spurs opted for Erick Dier and Ben Davies who had both come from injuries having to persevere the high heat from a hungry wolves.
Wolves now bounce back from a stoppage time defeat at the hands of Sheffield last weekend.
The Victory motivates wolves to climb up to 12 on the table with 15 points as spurs seat 2nd on the table with 26 points both teams having played 12 matches.
