On October 05, 2024, a police officer attached to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) was found dead in his house in Embakasi, after missing for two days.

The Officer Commanding Station (OCS) at the JKIA police post reported that the police officer aged 35 had not reported to work for two days.

Out of concern, the OCS sent a police officer to check on his colleague at his house located near Trace Hotel, in Embakasi.

He found the door locked from inside, and upon peeping through the window, he saw the said officer lying on his bed.

He immediately contacted his colleagues from Embakasi who gained access to the house, only to discover that the officer was dead.
